What iMedDoc is

iMedDoc is a practice and patient management system used by clinics, consultant practices, and private hospitals in Ireland to handle appointments, patient records, billing, and correspondence. It is a common day-to-day system for Irish specialist and outpatient settings.

How Neutropy connects

Neutropy reads appointment availability and patient context from iMedDoc and writes confirmed bookings back into it through supported integration interfaces. Bookings are reconciled against the existing diary so there are no double-books, and the clinic continues to work from the iMedDoc calendar it already uses. PII is stripped before any clinical text reaches a model.

In practice

An Irish private clinic on iMedDoc handles a steady stream of GP referrals whose patients each need a phone call to arrange a time. Neutropy reads the referral, checks free slots in iMedDoc, calls the patient, and books the agreed appointment directly into the iMedDoc diary. Reception staff are freed from routine outbound calls and only handle the cases that genuinely need a person, while the appointment appears in iMedDoc exactly where staff expect it.
