Oracle Health, formerly Cerner, provides the Cerner Millennium electronic health record used by hospitals and health systems to manage clinical records, orders, and scheduling. It is deployed widely across acute care in the UK and internationally.

How Neutropy connects

Neutropy reads referral and patient context and writes confirmed appointments back into Cerner Millennium scheduling through standards-based interfaces, using HL7 v2 messaging and FHIR APIs where the site supports them. Every booking is reconciled against the record already in Millennium and logged, and PII is stripped before any clinical text reaches a model.

In practice

A hospital on Cerner Millennium receives referrals that must be triaged and scheduled by staff working through the Millennium diary. Neutropy reads the referral, calls the patient, and writes the confirmed appointment into Millennium scheduling. Schedulers keep working in the system they know, and the manual delay between a referral arriving and a patient being booked collapses to minutes.
